The World's First Hotel to donate 50% of Profits to Charity

BANG TAO, Thailand - April 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Phuket, Thailand 3rd April 2014

The Mindful Hotel is being developed in the Bang Tao beach area of Phuket, Thailand close to the luxury Laguna development. The Hotel will support nominated charities by gifting 50% of profits every year and helping to raise awareness of each cause. The vision of the developers is to provide a luxury hotel which gives guests the ability to positively help others while on holiday without changing their plans or spending extra money. Just 3 minutes from the beach, the hotel will open in Q4 2015.

The property is designed to minimise environmental impact by using locally sourced low carbon materials where possible and features low energy solutions throughout. Operating policies include no plastic or styrofoam, constant recycling into multiple categories, home grown herbs and vegetables and paper use only where absolutely necessary. Use of natural light and passive cooling are primary design features.

Accommodation comprises spacious bungalows arranged around a natural, chlorine free pool. Guests and day visitors can be pampered in the Mindful Spa or indulge in the Krua Jai restaurant and bar. Free morning yoga, free WiFi throughout and a free DVD library provide entertainment options. For a more engaging experience guests are welcome to join in the free on site English lessons for locals, either to learn themselves or to help with the teaching.
