Barry Libman Appointed to Coding Advisory Board of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business

BEDFORD, Mass. - April 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Barry Libman, Founder and President of both Barry Libman Inc. and Libman Education Inc., has been appointed to the coding advisory board of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business, a leading global information services and publishing company.

Barry Libman is recognized for his in-depth knowledge of coding and reimbursement issues. An AHIMA-certified ICD-10 trainer, Libman is often asked to provide education and training on code updates and coding issues. Prior to forming Libman Education in 2012 and Barry Libman Inc. in 1998, Libman held a number of positions in the health information management field, working for hospitals, insurers, consulting firms, and regulatory bodies.

A graduate of NortheasternUniversity with a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from SimmonsCollege, Libman received the Professional Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Health Information Management Association (MaHIMA). He served on the MaHIMA Board of Directors and as a representative to the House of Delegates at the AHIMA national conference.
