Hugh Dennis presents awards to Belvoir’s top performing franchise owners

April 2, 2014 - PRLog -- The awards followed the company’s highly successful annual conference, which was attended by 125 delegates at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel in Nottingham.  Comedian Hugh Dennis, star of the hit BBC show Outnumbered and Mock the Week, provided after dinner entertainment and presented the awards with Belvoir’s newly appointed CEO Carl Chadwick.

Mike Campbell of Belvoir Falkirk enjoyed fantastic success, scooping three top titles including ‘Regional Winner - Scotland’, ‘Group Contribution of the Year’ and the coveted top title of Belvoir ‘Franchise Owner of the Year 2014’.

On presenting these awards Carl Chadwick said: “This triple success is richly deserved and testament to the high level of expertise and guidance that Mike provides to his clients, the industry and to his colleagues within Belvoir.

“His knowledge has helped many property investors to build a property portfolio in the Falkirk area, providing expert guidance on how to maximise returns on larger portfolios with established investors.”

“Mike is a staunch supporter of our brand and a highly respected mentor to people new to the business and to existing colleagues through his involvement in the national Belvoir Networking Group.

Mike runs the Belvoir Falkirk office with his wife Amanda, and on receiving his trophies said: “We are stunned to receive this number of awards and very grateful to have been recognised in this way.

“It’s a fine honour, considering that every year more and more outstanding people join Belvoir. It gives us a sense of quiet satisfaction and is a reminder that we are part of something bigger.”

Belvoir New Franchise of the Year

The other top award of the evening went to newcomers Phil Collett and Chris Roberts of Belvoir Bury who won New Franchise of the Year 2014.

The two lifelong friends left a career in the automotive retailing industry to launch Belvoir Bury in January 2013, and this has now become the fastest growing ‘cold start’ franchise in Belvoir’s history.

Commenting on this incredible achievement Carl Chadwick, said: “Phil and Chris epitomise what a truly successful business partnership is all about.

“A career change is always a major step but they have both drawn on their long experience of delivering great customer service - albeit in a different sector – and turned it into a major competitive advantage for this thriving business.

“At the beginning of 2014 they took their business to the next level by acquiring a second franchise in Oldham. This is a magnificent achievement and they are worthy winners of this top award.”

A delighted Chris said: “Taking on a Belvoir franchise was, without doubt, the best business decision we could have made – and winning this award is a fantastic bonus for us.”

“The Belvoir business model is very impressive,” added Phil. “The training course and support we continue to receive has totally equipped us to become a major force in our local market.

“The last year has been very hard work but we are getting a great deal of enjoyment from knowing that we have a great business that can only go on to achieve even greater things.”
