By: Miss Asia Pacific World Singapore Despite its newcomer status in the world of beauty pageants, debuting only in 2011, Miss Asia Pacific World has already garnered participation from over 50 countries worldwide. Indeed, beauty pageant novice notwithstanding, it has already launched the careers of its winners, notably, 2011 winner, Diana Starkova (the face of L’oreal) and 2013 winner, Srishti Rana, poised for Bollywood stardom, amongst other talents. This year, for the first time, Singapore and Indonesia too will also be involved in this exciting process! Castings for both Singapore and Indonesia take place in Singapore and begin in April over 14 days, held at 83 Club Street, where inspired drinks collide beautifully with urban art and progressive music. Where: 83 Club Street, S’pore 069451 (Owned by Déliciae Hospitality Management) When: Every Mon, Tues & Wed of April, beginning on 7th April (7-9 pm) Sat on 19th and 26th April (5-7pm) The continuous selection/elimination process culminates in the Semi-Final and National Final, where our crowned winners will move on to the international Final, held in Seoul, South Korea, home of K-pop and Korean superstardom.
