Yakitori Boy Kicks Off Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival

 
PHILADELPHIA - March 31, 2014 - PRLog -- (Philadelphia) March 31, 2014 – Yakitori Boy & Japas Lounge, Philadelphia’s premiere izakaya, starts off the annual Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival with its Karaoke Kick-Off on Wednesday, April 2 at 7 p.m.Admission to the Karaoke Kick-Off Party includes three drink tickets, delicious Japanese fare of sushi and of course, karaoke tickets.

  The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia is a month-long celebration in honor of Japanese culture and the start of spring. This year, the festival occurs from Wednesday, April 2 to Sunday, April 13 with events scheduled all over the city. Register for the 2014 Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival’s Karaoke Kick-Off online at subarucherryblossom.org. Purchase tickets online for $30 per person or $25 for Japanese America Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP) members. Tickets are also available at the door for $35 per person or $30 for JASPG members.

  Yakitori Boy & Japas Lounge remains as Philadelphia’s first and only authentic izakaya. Izakaya is a Japanese version of a pub, serving a variety of small dishes for snacking while drinking. The restaurant serves menu items tapas style and specializes in yakitori skewers of meat, seafood and vegetables. Yakitori Boy’s second floor features its Japas Karaoke Lounge, as well as 8 private karaoke rooms.
