LAWK STAR Guitars Expands Inventory, Adds Three New Brands to Its Online Shop & Invite-Only Music C
Portland instrument retailer broadens its brand roster with Gallien-Krueger, Catalinbread and Hipshot
Gallien-Krueger was founded over 30 years ago and boasts professionals like Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Ted Dwayne of Mumford and Sons as musicians who use its products. LAWK STAR now provides eight different Gallien-Krueger bass amplifiers and amplifier heads. LAWK STAR also carries two new Catalinbread guitar effects pedals -- the "Dirty Little Secret" overdrive pedal, and the "Echorec" echo pedal. Hipshot offers a wide array of hardware pieces for guitar and bass bridges, headstocks and knobs in order to help players to achieve the sounds they crave.
David Locke, LAWK STAR's owner, says the company is extremely particular when it comes to which brands it chooses to partner with and carry in the store. Each order is scrutinized so that only the best guitars, basses, strings, amps, pedals and hardware are provided for LAWK STAR's customers. That's why some of the products the company carries are specially ordered and built for sale through LAWK STAR and nowhere else.
"Many of our special boutique pieces will not be found in most music stores and are not mass produced," a statement on LAWK STAR's website makes clear. "However, we do recognize that many mass produced products are fantastic as well and do have proven track records. We just want to sell great quality and [great-sounding]
Gallien-Krueger, Catalinbread and Hipshot join the likes of the Breedlove, Dean, Dunlop, Paul Reed Smith and D'Addario brands as part of LAWK STAR's core roster. As a snippet from the company's bio says, "LAWK STAR Guitars will tailor to each musician's desires and dreams of their musical aspirations."
