Principal Marketing, Inc. Announces Promotion and Begins Recruitment Efforts for the New Quarter
GLEN ELLYN, IL – Principal Marketing, Inc., a firm of interactive marketing strategists who help brands to grow, extends their congratulations to team member Terra Engler on her career advancement while the company looks forward to career goals.
Terra Engler has been promoted to assistant manager as of this month. Terra's new responsibilities include helping with more of the behind the scenes regarding the events - the coordination, the forecasting, scheduling, and also being trained on the financials/budgeting related to the clients and campaigns to which she is assigned. Terra will also have much more freedom within her management of the training program for entry-level brand ambassadors in the firm's career advancement program.
This fits in perfectly with Terra’s strengths, noted Kimberly, the CEO of Principal Marketing, Inc. “Terra has shown exemplary skills in building professional relationships with team members. She brings out the best in her colleagues by holding them accountable to a higher standard and working with them to pinpoint their career goals.”
Kimberly added: “The people she has mentored and helped develop look up to her and everything she has done to go the extra mile for them! There are so many people in the office that attribute her leadership for all the success they have had.”
Before Terra joined Principal Marketing, Inc., she obtained her degree in political science with a minor in administration of justice and history from Southern Illinois University. Her last job as an English teacher in Gwangju, South Korea gave her the start in developing her leadership skills. As a teacher, Terra was responsible for more than 200 students and her daily tasks involved planning lessons, developing the curriculum, and organizing special events. Once she joined Principal Marketing Inc., she took full advantage of the career advancement program. With the aid of her mentors, she further honed her skills as a leader and found herself promoted to assistant manager in just 10 months.
As an assistant manager, Terra will be responsible for guiding future team members through the career advancement program. She also manages 15 branding experts as they deliver campaigns to their clients. Along with using her scheduling skills and her ability to forecast inventory, Terra is going to regularly interview aspiring individuals who want to join the firm’s mentorship program.
However, Terra’s journey with Principal Marketing, Inc. is just beginning. The company puts heavy emphasis in the importance of goal-setting. Growth is a key component for any business, especially in the competitive domain of advertising. This is why Terra is already looking to the next stage of her career to help further the growth of the firm.
Terra keeps in mind that goal-setting is not just about looking at the bigger picture. It is important to set clear and concrete objectives that will lead to her ultimate goals. She further commented: “I want to ultimately open and manage an office overseas. In order to achieve that, I have outlined specific targets for myself over the next couple of months. I have plans to get into management in four weeks. From there, I will continue to improve on my skills in product promotions and run successful events for my clients with a focus on expansion. In my first year of management, my aim is to help at least three people achieve their managerial ambitions the same way I have.”
Principal Marketing, Inc. Seeks New Talent
With Terra’s promotion and expansions on the horizon, Principal Marketing, Inc. has goals to add new talent to their roster of brand specialists. The firm’s CEO, Kimberly, says they are on the lookout for individuals who possess attributes similar to Terra’s. This includes a hunger for knowledge, the ability to connect with team members, and continually work on professional development.
The company’s management training program is both challenging and rewarding. Potential team members are coached on how to set goals for their careers and devise a concrete plan on how to achieve them. Depending on their attitude, determination, and commitment to learning, individuals move into management with the chance to run their own campaigns in a year.
During the course of the program, candidates learn vital skills in running a business, just as Terra had. The training program focuses on goal setting, developing an entrepreneurial mentality, understanding consumer behavior, and overall leadership. Specific education on financial management, human resources management, and client relations will also be covered in depth.
The CEO of Principal Marketing, Inc. added: “The ideal addition to our management training program should not be daunted by multi-tasking or ambitious goals. Good communication skills and a desire to convey the exact requirements of a campaign with suppliers, venues, and clients also matter. A person who loves plunging into the deep end is going to find this job complements their career goals.”
The company’s website is currently accepting resumes from individuals who are interested in beginning a lasting and rewarding career in consulting and advertising.
