Does your recall customer not have collision….?

ROCK HILL, S.C. - March 27, 2014 - PRLog -- The most recent auto recalls have caused an increase in auto rentals across the country. Rental operators, car dealerships and auto repair facilities are finding the owners of these vehicles may not have collision insurance because of the vehicle age.

Renter’s Collision Protection, a collision insurance product, is the answer.

“Renter’s Collision Protection is real insurance,” Jim Schalberg, president of Jim Schalberg Auto Rental Solutions said. “First, it’s primary over all other collision insurance offerings. Second, it provides coverage for customers, such as those with older vehicles, who are not carrying their own “full coverage insurance” and third, for customers with a high deductible, RCP’s low $250 deductible is a good alternative.”

RCP pays for any damage to the rental vehicle caused by collision, vandalism, fire, windstorm, hail and flooding. It does not cover theft because of a possible moral hazard.

RCP is sold at the counter and the rate is based on a 24-hour day. In the event of a claim, all the customer has to do is make the proper reports and pay his $250.00 deductible. “This is much less than the average $1,000 or $2,500 an operator may have on his own policy,” Schalberg said.

“Do not turn away those renters that do not have collision to cover your rental car,”Schalberg  continued. “Sell them Renter’s Collision Protection and protect your asset.”

RCP is offered exclusively through Auto Rental Solutions.   There are no sign up fees. Registration and installation only takes a few minutes. Call Jim Schalberg Auto Rental Solutions at 800-396-9128, or visit www.schalberg.com.
