BOSTON - March 27, 2014 - PRLog -- Bio-IT World has announced that complimentary keynote and exhibit hall passes are now available for the 2014 Bio-IT World Expo, taking place April 29 - May 1 in Boston, MA.  With record attendance expected, the 2014 event will bring together more than 2,500 global attendees from the life sciences, pharmaceutical, clinical, healthcare, and IT industries to share the latest developments in data sharing, analysis and management for life sciences and drug development.

Plenary Keynote Presentations
A diverse group of bio-IT visionaries will provide current and future trends in the industry.  Opening the event, Harvard School of Public Health’s Dr. John Quackenbush will discuss “Creating an Information Ecosystem for Personalized Genomic Medicine.” On the following days, visitors will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Stephen Friend of Sage Bionetworks, Dr. Yaniv Erlich of Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, Dr. Isaac Samuel Kohane of HMS Center for Biomedical Informatics, and Heather Dewey-Hagborg, known as the contemporary DNA Portrait Artist.

An Expansive Exhibit Hall of Novel Technologies & Networking
The 2014 exhibition brings more than 140 exhibitors, vendor theater presentations and rows of novel research posters on the industry’s hot topics of bioinformatics, big data solutions, cloud computing, data analysis and visualization, systems pharmacology, IT in clinical trials and pharma R&D,  and data security.  Visitors also have access to three industry award programs: Bioinformatics Organization's Benjamin Franklin Award and Bio-IT World's Best of Show and Best Practices and the annual Bio-IT World Networking Reception.
