Il Bottaccio Cooking School in Tuscany
The luxury 5 star Hotel Relais Il Bottaccio proposes unique and exclusive Cooking Courses of the finest Italian cuisine in Forte dei Marmi, Tuscany.
Hotel Relais Il Bottaccio in Tuscany, provides the opportunity to learn the art of cooking masterpieces of the finest Italian cuisine in in the kitchen of Nino Mosca Chef and Director of Il Bottaccio:
“My 5 day cooking course is a hands on experience, using only seasonal produce to ensure that all students have access to only the best products without which it is impossible to reach the highest standards of cuisine that Il Bottaccio Cooking School aims to transmit to all the participants.”
“Our courses are purposely made for small groups of maximum 8 participants, so we can offer a very high level of learning experience to all participants with a very personal touch and meticulous attention to each individual. Choosing Il Bottaccio cooking school will allow you to head out and explore this marvelous part of northern Tuscany and world famous Forte dei Marmi, as the courses will take up generally half day. A magnificent 5 day experience through the tastes and views of Tuscany.”
The Cooking Courses are structured as follows:
Day One: Italian Classics
Will focus on learning about a collection of essential including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and cheeses, with a special emphasis on seasonal items. After reviewing basic knife skills, we will discuss regional differences and specialties of Italy and prepare a selection of courses for lunch.
Day Two: The Cuisine of Il Bottaccio
You will discover the secrets of the fine modern cuisine of Il Bottaccio, with particular attention to seafood, its preparation and the best way to clean it. We will also cover the technique to make the perfect homemade pasta.
Day Three: Desserts and Introduction to Wines
You will have the chance to discover modern Italian desserts, and over a lunch prepared by Il Bottaccio staff wine tastes will be discussed while savoring a selection of Italian wines.
Day Four: Culinary Outing
You will tour the countryside and visit a local winery and continue to learn and taste Italian wines. Afterwards, we visit a market, tour an olive oil mill or another culinary destination, depending on the season.
Day Five: More Il Bottaccio Cuisine and “Being the Chef”
On the last day you will explore more Il Bottaccio specialties, afterwards you will take the center stage and apply what you have learnt and create your masterpiece.
