The 7th edition of the event, which was held under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the UAE's Minister of Culture, Youth, and Community Development, saw over 300 senior technology decision makers in attendance.

The two-day event, which was held at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai on February 24 and 25, 2014, saw Meta Byte Technologies sponsoring the event as its Gold Sponsor. At the event, Meta Byte Technologies’ executives spoke about a wide range of solutions such as data center consolidation, data governance, product and services road-mapping, information risk management, and enterprise governance risk and compliance, among others.

Overall, the event represented the largest social network of CIOs, IT thought leaders, and vendors in the Middle East, thus allowing attendees and exhibitors alike to explore the pivotal role of the CIO in the new business world of technology transformation.

The 300+ delegates in attendance represented a total of 13 diverse industry sectors, including banking and financial services, government, oil and gas, construction and real estate, utilities, and healthcare. As a consequence of this remarkably broad vertical representation, IDC customized the learning experience by introducing a series of industry-specific sessions that deal with the unique challenges faced by CIOs operating in these individual sectors.
