Oswald Hubbard felt trapped between insanity and death by boredom when he left his tenured position at prestigious Lycaster University Seeking solice in the borrowed cabin in the deep woods he finds much more than trees and spiders to welcome him. Within an isolated and mysterious farming community, mazes of cornfields, and towering trees there is an ancient stone altar. Could it be that Oswald was summoned here by an unseen presence, or is his desire to find purpose in is life driving him to see things that would best be left unseen.
A Gathering of Sparrows is a nostalgic story of supernatural terror and manipulation accessorized with touches of classic horror and contemporary commentary. This short read is sure to have a lasting effect.
