Gov't News: Robert Carey Leaves the Pentagon and DHS Looks for a New Presidential Limo

March 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Robert Carey has decided to retire from his post as principal deputy chief information officer at the Pentagon.

The 31-year government servcies veteran will move into the private sector, according to a Federal News Radio article.

Carey previously served as Navy CIO before taking on his Pentagon role in 2010.

The Secret Service has begun its search for the next presidential limosuine that must be made by a U.S. automaker and meet dozens of other requirements.

The current limousine is made by Cadillac and debuted at President Obama's innauguration in 2009.

Why Cadillac has been the devoloper of the presidential limousine for the past 21 years, the competition is open to Chrysler, Ford, General Motors and Tesla.
