PATT partners with Fitcorp Asia, pushing forward Kilimanjaro Climb for Change 2014

DUBAI, UAE - March 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Bangkok, Thailand – March 14, 2014-Plant-A-Tree-Today (PATT) foundation has recently announced its partnership with Fitcorp Asia in its environmental awareness raising event named  ‘Climb For Change 2014’  which will be take place at Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania with participants from all corners of the globe getting involved with the aim of raising funds for PATT’s environmental education portal.

Andrew Steel – the founder of Plant-A-Tree-Today (PATT) foundation, a UK registered charity and a Thailand Foundation operating throughout the Southeast Asia region, announced that Fitcorp Asia, one of the region's leading providers of Fitness Coaching and Personal Training services located in Bangkok, will support its ‘Climb For Change 2014’ event, a 7-day-climb for approximately 15 people to the Uhuru summit of Mount Kilimanjaro on July, 2014 by designing a training scheme for the participants.

He added “We are pleased to partner with Fitcorp Asia for this campaign. This will help us to support the climbers in preparation of the summit climb which will ultimately lead to the successful awareness raising event. A number of high profile environmental leaders have committed to the climb along with a number of celebrities from the world of beauty pageants”.

He concluded “I am sure that ‘Climb For Change 2014’ will help bring the idea of climate change back into people’s minds; the reason that these individuals are willing to participate in this climb is to showcase an environmental issue; in less than 6 years there will be no snow on the peak of the mountain!”
