-- Daniel Palmier, President and founder of UC Funding LLC, headquartered in Boston, participates in many charities. Having attended St. Christopher School, as well as the University of Notre Dame, Daniel Palmier of Boston, was raised with the mentality of the importance of always giving back to others. Through help from his son, Henry Castillo-Palmier for Soccer Support Abroad and his daughter, Elisa V. Palmier for the Buddy Dog Humane Society, he and his family have continued the tradition of being avid philanthropists.
Inspired by his valuable traits developed from being an active athlete, Daniel Palmier and his family felt compelled to share this experience with the world. Through supporting Soccer Support Abroad, also known as SSA, Dan Palmier and his son, Henry have made it a mission to help bring the love and teachings of the sport to underprivileged children all around the world. Through providing pre-owned equipment to children in developing countries as well as other impoverished areas, Dan Palmier and Henry Castillo-Palmier would like to help kids across the world with the opportunity to learn one of the most popular, fun sports while at the same time teaching them about the value of good sportsmanship, the power of teamwork, building friendships and camaraderie, as well as building a sustainable future through using pre-owned equipment, and developing vital skills that translate on and off the soccer field.
With the Palmier Family’s shared love for animals, Daniel Palmier and his daughter, Elisa Palmier were interested in being able to help impounded and homeless dogs and cats find a new life. The Buddy Dog Humane Society finds permanent, responsible homes for the animals in their care. The organization’
s adoption counselor work with potential adopters to match them with a friend for life. The mission of the Buddy Dog Humane Society is to take care of and facilitate the placement of stray cats and dogs in suitable, loving homes, to establish procedures and facilities that promote health and care of stray animals, as well as teaching and educating the individuals of Massachusetts how to care for pets. Euthanasia is never practiced, unless it is considered more humane to do so.
Dan Palmier also understands the serious nature of cardiac arrest. As a result, Daniel Palmier is also currently mobilizing substantial aid to communities in Haiti with a particular emphasis on their hospital’s cardiac arrest services.
