Leadership Banquet To Feature Co-Founder of The Water Council on April 8, 2014
Cornell Alumni Association Event is Open to Public and will Highlight Challenges and Opportunity of Water
Meeusen's vision, passion and leadership have been instrumental in capturing the attention of business and community leaders here and across the country, making Wisconsin's water cluster one of the most talked about regional initiatives in decades. Observed alumni club President, Miriam Fleming: "Given the national focus on water issues, such as the drought in California, plus the ongoing negotiations between Waukesha and Milwaukee to access Lake Michigan water, this event will attract a wide spectrum of attendees -- from business and community leaders to anyone who appreciates the low cost and high quality of our drinking water."
The event starts at 6pm and includes an exquisite 3-course dinner from Westmoor's kitchen. Charge is $60. For more information and to RSVP, visit: www.bit.ly/BanquetRegistration. Additional questions can be directed to Chad Cape, at email@example.com.
Keynote speakers from previous years have included University of Wisconsin Chancellor Biddy Martin, Chicago Federal Reserve Chairman William Foote, UW-Milwaukee Chancellor Carlos Santiago, and Winemaker Philippe Coquard of Wollersheim Winery.
