KALAMAZOO, Mich. - March 24, 2014 - PRLog -- This Saturday, Sally will be at Barnes & Noble at 6134 South Westnedge Ave, Portage, MI from 1:00 to 3:00 pm to discuss and sign her book, Smiling Again: Coming Back to Life and Faith After Brain Surgery. Released on March 1, Smiling Again was published by Morgan James Publishing. Through Smiling Again, Sally shares her journey with an abrupt and life-changing brain tumor diagnosis as well as her ongoing recovery. Sally is looking forward to meeting readers to discuss brain tumor recovery and caregiver tips.

Acoustic Neuroma(AN) brain tumors occur in about 2 in 100,000 people and have no definitive cause, grow for years quietly, and are life changing when they are diagnosed and treated. Throughout her book, Sally shares the importance of having a strong support system for recovery.  While some AN patients skate through surgery and recovery, many are left with residual issues that are exhausting and real.  Smiling Again was written in the hope that she could help AN patients as well as caregivers. The book includes tips that can guide others who face any type of health crisis.

Smiling Again: Coming Back to Life and Faith After Brain Surgery is available in paperback and electronic formats at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and Powells.
