Help Our Troops Celebrate Xmas In The Summer

After living in Israel for 9 years and Erika on active duty in the Israeli Air force, we learned first hand how important it is that the troops, whoever or wherever they may be,  are thanked for the sacrifices they make for us, here at home, not only on special occasions and holidays but as often as we can.

Anyone who's ever been away from home for long periods of time can relate to the excitement and joy of receiving a Care Package.

In years past, you could wrap up a care package and mail it to "Any Service Member", but with increased mail restrictions, the Pentagon is asking people to help through financial contributions, letter-writing, e-mail and to purchase and send commercially pre-made care packages.

Having just opened a new business, Popnplus.com , the only gourmet popcorn emporium and factory in the Tampa Bay area, we decided to offer a way for everyone to show our troops a little year-round appreciation.

$20 of support sponsors one Popnplus "Snack Pack"  (1 quart of freshly popped gourmet popcorn sealed in two individual zip lock bags, sized to fit in their CARGO PANTS). We do all the rest. We pop, bag, address and ship to our troops over seas.

In short, it's just another small way we can ALL help to connect families separated by deployments and let them know that we are always thinking of them.
