Less than a year later in August 1976, Davidson produced Stompin 76 attracting a whopping 100,000+ young music fans from all over the East Coast. Starring Bonnie Raitt, John Prine, John Hiatt, David Bromberg, Earl Scruggs, Lester Flatt, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Ry Cooder, Vassar Clements and many more. Wanting more knowledge on promoting, Hal became a promoter for Ringling Bros. Circus, the Ice Follies, Las Vegas casinos and many more events and projects. Over the next 20 years, he became a top resort and retail marketing executive, expanding his toolbox, making him a unique festival producer. Festivals always remained the primary passion.
