NY Times Bestselling Author Janet Mock Host Trans Women of Color Authors For Women's History Month

LOS ANGELES - March 23, 2014 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 5pm (pacific time)  NY Times Bestselling Author Janet Mock (Author of Redefining Realness) will be hosting the first trans women of color authors forum ever in the United States on Google Hangouts and broadcast on Youtube. The trans women of color authors are Toni Newman, Mey Rude and Ryka Aoki.

Join author Janet Mock for a live, intimate conversation with some of her favorite trans women writers in celebration of Women’s History Month. They’ll be on-air discussing their books, writing and craft. Watch live and join the Q&A via Google Hangouts and broadcast on YouTube.

Janet Mock is the former staff editor for People Magazine and holds master's degree in journalism from New York University. Trans women of color face huge economic and social disparity and their voices are hardly heard within the lgbt community. This forum is celebrating trans women of color authors and their voices and their works. The theme is Equality for all regardless of your background, ethnicity and gender.
