For the Small Cars Under $10,000 category, the 2004-2007 Toyota Prius and the 2005-2007 Toyota Matrix were included on the list. The 2004 Toyota Highlander V6 was included for the SUVs Under $10,000.

For the $10,000 to $15,000 set, the 2006 and 2008 Toyota RAV4 earned a spot on the list for the SUV category, and both the 2011-2012 Toyota Camry and 2010-2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid made the list for the Sedans $15,000 to $20,000 category.

In the $20,000 to $25,000 segment, the 2011 Toyota Avalon made the list for Sedans, and the 2008-2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid made the list for SUVs.
