“The Global Architecture of Survival”: George L. Fouke, Ph.D, Launches a Book Crowdfunding Campaign

INDIALANTIC, Fla. - March 21, 2014 - PRLog -- George Fouke, Ph.D., retired professor and author, announces the launch of a worldwide crowdfunding campaign aiming to support publishing and marketing his latest eye-opening book “The Global Architecture of Survival: Lessons from the Jewish Experience”.

This enlightening book addresses the issue of the global environmental crisis. As the author clearly states “Our species is in jeopardy of extinction. The sheer scale of the problem is daunting; if we are to live through this crisis, it’s going to take all of us working together. As a species, we’ve got to learn to get along. That is where the Jewish experience comes in as a profound and graphic example of a people surviving extreme adversity.”

The lessons from the Jewish communities throughout history and all over the world are of great value; they demonstrate how to flourish through adjustment, compromise, and innovation, even under horrific conditions. Professor Fouke has built upon Sir Henry Maine’s formula for how societies progress from “Societies of Status” to “Societies of Contract,” and added a third stage: what he calls the “Society of Dignity;” he emphasizes the worth and dignity of every individual and believes that “Society of Dignity” is a crucial first step in the process of saving our species.

In 2008, he published “Damn the Warocracy: A Plea to Restore American Democracy,” and is the author of several essays on Thomas Wolfe, his favorite novelist.
