By: The Written Wyrd This is the third part of the 'Diplomacy' trilogy of humorous First Contact novels crafted as 'lurid tell-all memoirs' narrated by members of a team of alien diplomats trying to establish good relations with the strange 'humans'. The 'Diplomacy' trilogy is based in part on how we would react if we were contacted by an advanced alien race today. Add in the panicky, often bizarre reaction of the humans, and the social and psychological differences between the two races with the Ic'nichis' own frailties and foibles, and the result is mayhem teetering on chaos. And it doesn't help that the recent war against a third alien race has changed all concerned - they are becoming telepathic! No one knows why, or what to do about it, but they have to do something before every secret of their military, diplomacy and personal lives becomes common knowledge throughout the universe! This book is presently available on Amazon and through the Written Wyrd web site in both print and downloadable form. This work, and other works by The Written Wyrd, are available on request for reviews. Please contact the trust through the addresses below. "It asks 'why?', 'what will this lead to?', and 'is there a better way?' in a variety of forms which appeal to the mass market reader. In this time when there is so much pressure for mindless conformity, encouraging people to think is more critical than ever. This is what distinguishes Speculative Fiction from all other forms of popular literature." ABOUT THE IC'NICHI The Ic'nichi are a race resembling 'small bipedal dinosaurs' who live in a loose knit city-state society. They are less violent than humans, and while they are far more powerful than mankind, they have no desire to aggress against us. The individual characters are an ill-assorted lot specifically created as a counterpart to the all-wise-all- ABOUT THE WRITTEN WYRD Launched in January 1, 2011, The Written Wyrd is a Washington State nonprofit trust founded to address the problems faced by self published and small press authors of speculative fiction through a program of technical support and publicity.
