Akira Alexender was born In Asheville, North Carolina May 14th 1985. He is also known as Kidd, being a nickname that stuck with him since high school. He’s African American descent.

Akira established himself to be one of the most talented MC’s in his market area being Raleigh, North Carolina. He is driven by faith and ambition, not to mention an extraordinary talent that he perfected. He is proven to be one of the best lyricist out today, and is ready to break into the mainstream market. He’s determined to get his music out. Akira has performed locally numerous times, dropped mixtapes, debut on the musiz lounge on channel 10 which is a show that is for Upcoming Artist Hosted by Marty A. Johnson. Akira is now signed to Brickhouse Music Group, an independent label based in Los Angeles. With his drive, ambition and backing of his label, he is working hard to be one of the most successful artist of his era.
