Rowdy Princess Music Group Debuts Self Produced EP
Siblings Nia and Tiani Wright produce a urban medley of R&B meets Hip/Hop on their first EP released through New York independent label Rowdy Princess Music Group.
Nia, 21 is a rap artist, that does most of the songwriting for the team, as well as pen her own lyrics. Tiani, 17 is the lead singer and produces most of the music tracks along with an in-house producer. The 2 single debut will be the first of two EP's to be released this year. Group member Nia states "the songs on the EP are not your typical Hip-Hop tracks that simply puts lyrics to music samples. We combine multiple genres of music from Urban contemporary and R&B, to Dance and Hip-Hop. We focus more on songwriting and music arrangements, then we top it off with an accompanying rap verse to complete the song."
The lead single is an R&B meets Hip-Hop Dance track titled "All Night", which highlights the ladies' production and songwriting talents as well as Nia's infectious rhyme skills. Although the Rowdy Princess artists create and perform some of their music together; Nia and Tiani insist that they are not a group. "We are a team of writers and producers who create music for ourselves and would eventually like to branch out to create for others who share the passion for expressing themselves in their own unique way." A Summer promotional tour is in the works for the Rowdy Princess Music Group, while Tiani who is ending her junior year in high school, finishes the semester.
"No Rules" will be available on iTunes and Amazon.com April 2.
