SAN ANTONIO - March 19, 2014 - PRLog -- The San Antonio Pet Expo is just around the corner! From 10am to 6pm on Saturday, March 29, 2014, attendees can once again enjoy spending a fun-filled and educational day with their best pet friend at the San Antonio Event Center. This free, indoor and air-conditioned event attracts thousands of pet lovers along with their furry, feathered and reptilian pals who are looking to enjoy a day of live entertainment, education, super fun contests and all kinds of exciting demonstrations.   You can also pamper your pets with lots of unique pet products available for purchase.   Admission and parking are free to the public for this annual don’t miss event and your pet is always welcome.

Amazing Pet Expo National Spokesperson, Shorty Rossi, star of ‘Pit Boss’ on Animal Planet, will make an appearance with his popular canine sidekick, Hercules. As Rossi’s star has continued to rise, it’s only managed to allow him to make a bigger difference for his special passion: championing the cause of pit bulls. Not only will he be available for pictures and autographs all day, he’ll share how you can become an advocate for animals and help make a difference as well.

If you are looking to add a pet to your family, a major highlight of the San Antonio Pet Expo is the Petfinder.com Mega-Adoption Area, featuring hundreds of adoptable pets. You also won’t want to miss the live entertainment and demonstrations going on all day on multiple stages. You can register your pet friend to take part in popular and exciting contests such as the costume contest, talent contest or pet/owner musical chairs with awesome prizes from exhibitors that will be on site all day.   There is even a karaoke contest, Sing For Your Pooches Dinner For Reals featuring animal themed song selections and contestants sing for a chance at a year supply of pet food from Natural Balance.  Mic Mac Teaching for Dogs will be performing demonstrations on the activity course and Texas K9 All Stars will be featured on the Agility Course throughout the day!

As always, pets are welcome to attend the event, as long as they’re on a fixed lead and have proof of age-appropriate rabies vaccines. If your pet is not up-to-date, don’t worry.
