The TMS Sustainability Circle Program helps small to mid-size businesses (SMEs) build competitive advantage, profitability, and brand leadership through a 6-month peer-learning program that uses the latest thinking, technologies, and tools to embed sustainability practices into their organization. The outcome of the program is a customized Sustainability Action Plan created by participants themselves and geared toward their specific business objectives such as energy efficiency, productivity, or cultural change.

The Ken Blanchard Companies initially joined a Sustainability Circle with the goal of reducing their carbon footprint. The program provided essential insights on the business case for sustainability and provided useful tools for funding and implementing changes in heating and cooling, vendor selection, and waste mitigation. As a result, Blanchard has created a plan that includes renewable energy, waste reduction, and water conservation measures.
