Sparta Main Street 5k & 10k Festival & Fitness Expo on Saturday, April 26th 2014

SPARTA, N.J. - March 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Newton Medical Center & Atlantic Sports Health are thrilled to present The 16th Annual USATF- sanctioned Grand Prix Event, Main Street 5K/10K Festival & Fitness Expo. On Saturday, April 26, 2014, starting at 9am, this walk / run, will be held at The Fieldhouse at Sparta Athletic: 115 Sparta Avenue, Sparta, NJ. It will be the site of a spectacular fundraising event to benefit the Special Olympics of NJ (Area Three: Morris, Sussex, Warren), which is a 501(c)3 non-profit, offering free year-round sports training and competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Mark Scordato & Associates Wealth Management will lead fellow sponsors: Sparta Stop and Shop, Eastern Propane, Thorlabs, First Energy, Lakeland Bank, Rev It Up of Sparta, 102.3 WSUS, 103.7 WNNJ, MAX 106.3, Blue Ridge Lumber, Performance Pediatrics, Cailey Jewelers, Sparta Chiropractic & Wellness Center, and Sparta Athletic, with special events sponsored by First Hope Bank. The event, from 8am – 12pm, offers something for all ages. Villa Capri II and Sparta Subway comprise Main Street Events Cafe, with free food for all participants. Nutrition Zone is providing the hydration stations and samplings for runners and walkers.
