Anthony Xerri to Showcase Original Music in Garwood NJ

BELMAR, N.J. - March 18, 2014 - PRLog -- New Jersey Singer Songwriter Anthony Xerri will be performing at Crossroads in Garwood, NJ on Wednesday, March 19th.  As part of an acoustic showcase, Xerri takes the stage at 7:40pm, playing a set of his eclectically inspired original music.  He plans to debut some new material, never before performed live.

Xerri has been performing live for years both as a solo musician and as parts of various groups.  A regular to the New Brunswick bar scene until his recent move to the Jersey Shore, Xerri can be seen hosting an Acoustic Karaoke night on alternating Saturdays at Paul's Tavern in Belmar, NJ.  This unique event showcases Xerri's vast performance catalog while incorporating audience members and giving them the chance to take the stage as part of a real band and realize their dreams of being a rockstar!

"Acoustic Karaoke takes the crowd to a simpler, purer time when music was made by real musicians who work together and follow each other" said Xerri.  Without the use of computers, Xerri provides participants with lyrics to over 250 of their favorite songs.  Where regular karaoke machines fail, Xerri guides the singer along, helping him or her to stay on key, find their rhythm and hit their cues.  He even provides vocal support when needed!
