New York Order of Protection Lawyer Announces Dismissal

Following the filing of a petition seeking an Order of Protection by the Petitioner, Attorney Redenburg's Client receives an Order of Dismissal
NEW YORK - March 17, 2014 - PRLog -- In the Matter of a Family Offense Proceeding in the Family Court of the State of New York at 60 Lafayette Street, the Petitioner had sought an Order of Protection in her favor and against Mr. Redenburg's client, Daniel. The Petitioner had filed a petition on December 16, 2013, which required both her and Attorney Redenburg's client to appear before Referee Marva A. Burnett at 60 Lafayette Street on March 5, 2014. The Petitioner had alleged that Mr. Redenburg's client was harrassing her through various social media sites and that this was scaring her. The petition filed was done so under Article 8 of the Family Court Act.

Once the respective parties and their counsel had arrived in Court, it was agreed that the Petitioner would withdraw her petition and the Court subsequently Ordered that the matter be dismissed. The Court also issued and Order of Dismissal which can be found here
