By: The Amana Family Scholarship Award

COLUMBUS, Ga. - March 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Minnesota born radio & television personality Georgia Ellyse suffered the loss and accidental death of her infant daughter in 2007. She was nineteen (19), and headed into her sophomore year of college.  The current Foxie 105FM - WFXE Morning Show co-host found solace in a remote location of Danbury, WI, where Faith’s Lodge provides resort and hope to grief stricken families.

February 21, 2014, marked Georgia’s daughter’s seventh (7th) birthday and national launch of The Amana Family Scholarship Award for whom the prize is named. “I don’t know how I would have made it through that period of life had it not been for my experience with

Faith’s Lodge.” Said Georgia. “It helped me to cope in ways I cannot explain, so I’m sending families there to share the wisdom I’ve gained.”

The goal of the award is to bring more awareness to the unique life saving serenity of

Faith’s Lodge, as well as to provide exposure and access to families who would not be able otherwise. Executive Director Kelly McDyre stated, "We're so proud of our work with parents during such a dark time.  Georgia's personal testimony is a wonderful gift, and we're looking forward to serving as many families as we can reach.”
