Follow on Google News | Minority Professional Development Conference Scheduled for March 15Kent State University's Collegiate Business Association is set to host the first ever Minority Professional Development Conference
The business section in the morning will consist of different interactive panels such as entrepreneurship, etiquette lunch, LinkedIn photo shoot and mock interviews. There will be special appearances from different businesses and organizations, such as the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) and CHASE Bank. The business section will start promptly at 10 a.m. in room 200 of the College of Business Administration building on Kent State University’s campus. After the business portion, CBA will host a social in room 306 of the Kent Student Center at 7 p.m. There, participants will find refreshments, networking opportunities, and enjoy shows such as the GQ Fashion Show and performances by various artists. For the social, please dress in business attire. The conference will be a great opportunity for all students who want to gain business opportunities and learn methods for becoming successful. General Admission is only $5. A professional profile picture for a LinkedIn account it will cost an additional $5. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the conference or online.
