4-C Announces New Staff and Board Members

MADISON, Wis. - March 12, 2014 - PRLog -- 4-C is pleased to announce the following additions to its staff and board of directors:

Heather Davis has accepted the position of Play and Learn Specialist with 4-C. She holds degrees in child development and social work and over 12 years of experience working in early childhood.

Katie Fischer has accepted the position of Play and Learn Specialist with 4-C. She holds a degree in social work and has worked in the play and learn environment since December of 2011.

DeBorah Moore has accepted the position of Play and Learn Specialist with 4-C. She is currently pursuing a degree in social work and also works with the Safe Haven Program at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.

Elizabeth Sexton has been hired as an Early Intervention Manager. Elizabeth holds a masters degree in Early Childhood and a broad background in child development.

Debbie Skubal has joined the 4-C board of directors. Debbie recently retired after working for the Madison Metropolitan School District for 28 years.

Jess Smith has accepted the position of Play and Learn Manager with 4-C. Previously in the 4-C Certification department, Jess brings a variety of early childhood experiences gained from over 20 years working in the field.

In existence since 1971, 4-C is part of an association of non-profit Wisconsin child care resource and referral agencies. In addition to the new Play and Learn program, 4-C certifies family child care homes in Columbia and Dane Counties, administers the CACFP in 19 Wisconsin Counties, offers a child care referral service and options to parents and employers, and provides professional development and training opportunities for early childhood professionals in Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Green, Jefferson, Rock, Sauk and Walworth counties. The agency’s mission is to ensure that every child has access to high quality early care and education through integrated support and expertise.
