PRLog -- Springfield Music will be hosting the Rock and Roll Up Your Sleeve Blood Drive on Saturday, March 22. The American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in the store’s parking lot from 12-4 p.m. on 3100 South Fremont.
“This will be Springfield Music’s first ever Blood Drive since opening in 1961,” said Donovan Bankhead, vice president of Springfield Music. “We appreciate the opportunity to team up with the Springfield American Red Cross and contribute to our local community.”
March marks the Red Cross Month where volunteers are recognized as everyday heroes. All donors at the Springfield Music March 22 Blood Drive will receive a free t-shirt.
Severe winter weather from January to February has caused cancellation of American Red Cross Blood Drives from coast to coast. Here in the Ozarks, about two dozen Blood Drives have been canceled since the beginning of the year. The goal for this Blood Drive is collect 15 pints of blood.
