17th annual Mount Dora Spring Collectibles and Crafts Show

MOUNT DORA, Fla. - March 12, 2014 - PRLog -- The 17th annual Mount Dora Spring Collectibles & Crafts Show kicks off in the streets of downtown Mount Dora on Saturday morning March 22th at 9:00am.

Join Visit Mount Dora™ as the downtown Mount Dora, FL streets come alive with antiques, collectibles, arts and crafts With over 250 exhibitors setting up this year, the Mount Dora Spring Show (formerly the Mount Dora Antiques Fair) will be larger than ever before. The event has grown to include three additional streets full of exhibitors in 2014.
Janet Gamache, the Mount Dora Spring show event coordinator says "The Mount Dora Spring Show has evolved from the old antique show it was years ago into a fun eclectic festival with something for everyone. It features some fabulous artists and crafters that are part of our juried Fall Craft Fair as well as the old fun antique dealers with treasures many visitors look forward to hunting through every year.."

Another new feature of the show that debuted successfully last year is the ability to purchase beer and wine at the Spring show. "Visitors will be allowed to purchase beer and wine at an event kiosk and walk around the event area without having to stay in a confined area. We want folks to come out, relax, enjoy the festival and linger," says Gamache.

The Mount Dora Spring Collectibles and Crafts show is a fun, family friendly two-day, open-air event. The Mount Dora High School Art Dept will host a free craft zone for kids to try their hand at crafting their own projects in Sunset Park.
