SAN FRANCISCO - March 14, 2014 - PRLog -- March 14, 2014—New York, New York—Foreword Literary, Inc., the literary agency that focuses on technology and innovation in addition to the more traditional aspects of book publishing, today announced the addition of Connor Goldsmith as an Associate Agent at the firm.

Partner Pam van Hylckama Vlieg, a major force in securing Goldsmith for the job, said, “Connor has a strong desire to acquire great fiction in areas where Foreword wants to expand. He’s going to do amazing things.”

Goldsmith began his publishing career in 2012 at Lowenstein Associates, where he was promoted to Associate Agent in March 2013. He specializes in adult commercial fiction, with a particular interest in sci-fi/fantasy/horror and thrillers, especially from minority perspectives. Prior to entering publishing, he spent a year as a full-time intern and relief assistant in the voice-over department at Abrams Artists Agency.

"I'm thrilled to be beginning the next stage of my career at Foreword Literary. The partners at Foreword have quickly proven themselves to be driven, adaptable thinkers with an eye toward the future of publishing in a changing marketplace, and I'm very excited to join the team."
