Crescent City Connection is Recruiting Sponsors in the Fight Against Sexual Assault

Author, Taymika G. Byrd will launch her newest novel and raise social awareness with the help of local business, non-profits and political sponsors.

NEW ORLEANS - March 11, 2014 - PRLog -- New Orleans native and author, Taymika Byrd will launch her newest novel, Crescent City Connection, at the start of Sexual Assault Awareness month. Proceeds from sales during April will be donated to Crescent House of the New Orleans Family Justice Center to support the fight against sexual assault.

Taymika will host a book signing in April and she is inviting local business owners and political figures to participate by becoming event sponsors. The signing party will be held at the Community Book Center in New Orleans, April 19th, 2014.

All sponsors will be recognized in the novel. Sponsorship levels begin at $50.00 and non-monetary contributions to the event are welcome as well.

Contributions are not tax deductible; however, all cash donations will go directly to support the fight against sexual assault. Non-monetary contributions will go to the promotion and production of the event. Items that can be used as door prizes are encouraged as well as services for the event itself.
