AZ “Hero-Fest” concert to benefit Arizona chapter of the national non-profit House of Heroes
Founded in January 2000, the House of Heroes is a nonprofit organization serving our nation's military and public safety veterans (and their spouses) who are disabled, living on a fixed income, or facing other physical/financial challenges. Volunteers perform minor repairs and make improvements to the homes of veterans and their spouses—at no cost to the veteran— through the generosity of individuals, civic organizations, and corporations.
Hero-Fest will be an annual musical event to raise funds for this organization. The night will also include a ceremony honoring two members of each branch of the armed forces, as well as public responders, police and firefighters that have been extraordinary with their service and reaching out in their community.
“It is sure to be a very entertaining, memorable and emotional event for all of those who attend, and for those that serve and protect.” says Lynette Clemens of Keller Williams Legacy.
Local musician and headlining act Russ Marsh is a recording artist who enjoyed success in the 1970’s and has returned with the release of his album A-M-E-R-I-C-
A website dedicated to year-round fundraising for House of Heroes is in production and sponsored by JCG Advertising. The site will feature event information, a page for each year’s honorees where site visitors can leave written messages as well an online store featuring exclusive designs on t-shirts, hats, mugs and other apparel items. The online store will be open year-round with 100% of profits going to House of Heroes.
“Our agency is passionate about pro-bono charity projects but this one is especially important to us. There was not a second thought given to lending the service and resources of our agency to this project, not just this year, but on an annual basis.
