MetrixLab, acquires majority stake in social media analytics specialist Oxyme

Known for pioneering digital research methodology which connects social activity to business performance, Oxyme strengthens MetrixLab capabilities in multi-channel data analytics.

MarketTools' parent MetrixLab, global provider of marketing analytics and research solutions, announced today that it has acquired a majority stake in Oxyme, a globally operating social media analytics company headquartered in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Oxyme is known for pioneering digital research methodology which connects social activity to business performance. Oxyme created the Digital Sentiment Index (DSI), a new marketing metric that captures the value of brands online. DSI correlates with key performance metrics like sales and market share and is implemented at an increasing number of international and Fortune 500 companies in Europe and the USA. .
