Easter Breaks at the Glorious Grand Hotel Rogaska
Grand Hotel Rogaska is set to provide special Easter Breaks including traditional events to celebrate the occasion
The hotel is every bit as enchanting as the Easter story itself, and this April the hotel is offering a series of special events to celebrate this important time. The events will include an Easter breakfast, a traditional Easter egg hunt in the beautiful park beside the hotel, a live music evening and Holy Mass in the Chapel of St Anne.
The events will take place between 18th – 20th of April and the package also features a two-night half-board stay in a luxury room, gym, sauna and thermal pool entry and even a bottle of Donat Mg – the magnesium-rich, miracle mineral water. Also included are two hours’ a day of entertainment for children, entry to the Rogaska Riviera thermal pools and a voucher for spa treatments. Double standard rooms cost €258 for both nights. Single standard rooms cost €178 for both nights, and upgrades such as a superior room or a park view are available.
There is plenty to see in the local area, including the glorious parks and extensive vineyards. There are more than 1500 square metres of indoor and outdoor thermal pools providing fun for all the family. The Rogaska Glassworks uses a 350-year-old traditional method to make ornate crystal glass. The glassworks at Saint Cross Church are one of the biggest glass producers in Europe and they give tours to show how the unique products are made.
As well as being bold, majestic and visually stunning, the hotel itself is an important part of Slovenian history. Many famous and powerful people have stayed in the hotel including emperor Ferdinand of Austria, King Peter and musician Franz Liszt. An enchanting, regal building in a beautiful setting, it is a truly memorable place.
