Miami Innovators and Entrepreneurs Meet Venture Capital, Business Angels and Crowdfunding
The Soho Loft and FundingPost will present this investor-focused Conference on 20 March 2014 at Suite 4400, 333 SE 2nd Avenue in Miami, Florida
Consider this forum as lively meet-up for startups and investors. “The conventional way of raising money for business is not working anymore,” says David Drake, Chairman and Founder of The Soho Loft. “Many great ideas fail to fly because of lack of capital during the early-stage of the business,” Drake adds.
This conference intends to bring early-stage businesses to come in contact with investors by using novel ways of raising funds. The primary funding for many businesses is often the most difficult to raise. Crowdfunding and other innovative ways of raising capital continue to grow at hyper speed. “We are hopeful that this new method of raising capital can help the new generation of startups raise that much-needed capital they need for their business,” adds Drake.
“Early-stage VCs are always on the look out for great ideas and this event is one of the best forums for investors to locate promising new ventures,” says Joe Rubin, Director of Funding Post. “We are excited about this event. This is a fantastic opportunity for early-stage companies to meet face to face with investors,” Rubin adds.
Moderating the Crowdfunding panel is David Drake.
