VosVideo Hybrid VSaaS surveillance system powered with Google WebRTC is now available

March 9, 2014 - PRLog -- VosVideo created a simple but powerful IP camera surveillance system. It is built using the cutting edge Google WebRTC technology and Microsoft Media Foundation that offer the dramatic improvements in data transferring and processing.

“Our inspiration was to create cost effective and flexible video system that is easily adjustable for our customers’ needs,” said Aleksey Telyshev, VosVideo co-founder. While other cloud video monitoring services support a small number of cameras or require their own proprietary hardware, VosVideo offers its customers flexibility to use the cameras of their choice. We support all the major consumer IP cameras on the market today.

The system setup only takes a few minutes and is controlled through our website www.vosvideo.com.  Our web interface is user friendly and allows to:

·          Set up and add cameras into the video system

·          Watch live video from all cameras on a desktop computer, tablet or smartphone

·          Access the video on the local storage (user PC)

·          Redirect and store the recorded video on any cloud storage

·          Create and manage various users under one account

VosVideo offers a hybrid approach meaning that video processing component is installed on user home PC but the back end (interface, camera management and user configurations) is running in the cloud. Innovative WebRTC technology used in our system changes the traditional way of the network communication and offers real-time peer to peer communication avoiding media server or data center. The dramatically increase the speed of the data transfer. Other benefits of using this technology is the enhanced security of video records. Recorded video never leaves the user’s home network as it is saved on a local computer that is running video server component. All IP cameras located on the local network are invisible from the Internet which means they are protected from any hacker attacks. At the same time, the user can optionally select a transfer of a recorded video to any online storage (like Google Drive, SkyDrive, etc.) to ensure that video archive is protected from local computer data loss. All data broadcasting is encrypted to prevent the unwanted access to user’s video.

VosVideo announced that it has released the video system in a free public beta version. Our customer can access our services through our website and set up the independent home and small business video system with just a few clicks using our user friendly installation tutorial.
