QUINCY, Mass. - March 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Quincy, MA – (March 7, 2014) – G-Force Shipping, an emerging leader in the Third Party Logistics (3PL) industry has been recognized by the Boston Business Journal as a 2014 Pacesetter, being named to its annual list of the fastest growing privately owned companies in Massachusetts.

This year’s list includes 70 privately held businesses that recorded the state’s fastest revenue growth from 2010 through 2013. To be considered, a company had to report annual revenue growth of at least 20 percent over a four-year period and companies needed a baseline of $1 million in revenue for 2010. G-Force Shipping has grown annual revenue nearly 900% during that time period and has doubled its employee base in the past calendar year.

“Being named a 2014 Pacesetter is validation of all the hard work the members of the G-Force team have invested over the years – they deserve all the credit,” says G-Force Shipping CEO, Scott Guilbeault. “This is an extremely exiting time for G-Force as we are also in the process of re-locating to Heritage Landing in Quincy to accommodate our growth. G-Force is proud to be listed amongst this impressive list of privately owned businesses in the Bay State and I would like to extend my congratulations to all of the 2014 Pacesetters.”

The 2014 Pacesetters will be honored during an April 17 breakfast event at the Westin Copley Place in Boston that will feature a countdown to the No. 1 fastest-growing company on this year’s list.

“The BBJ’s annual Pacesetters list is all about the entrepreneurs and companies that make Massachusetts one of the most dynamic and innovative economies in the world,” said Chris McIntosh (http://pubads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/adview?ai=BlFFk5p0...), publisher of the Boston Business Journal. “This year’s list is our strongest and most diverse to date and was drawn from a record number of submissions vying for recognition as one of the fastest-growing private businesses in the state.”

G–Force Shipping has been recognized by numerous local, regional and national business award programs in the past year including but not limited to;“2013 Fastest Growing Company of the Year” and “Customer Service Department of the Year” by the Stevie Awards;“2013 Top-Privately-Held Business in Massachusetts” by Diversity Business; “Fastest Growing Company of the Year” by the 2013 American Business Awards; and “Fastest Growing Company of the Year” and “Best Place to Work” by Best in Biz 2013 International.
