Harrison County Library Welcomes Award-Winning Author Marian L. Thomas
Free And Open To The Public Brown Bag Seminar on Book Publishing
The seminar is based on a famous quote by Napoleon Hill: "If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way." The informative presentation is geared toward the aspiring adult or young adult author. It will cover topics on self-publishing versus traditional publishing, the importance of a great book cover and how to build a solid author platform when you are unknown.
The event will begin at 1:00. The library is located at 12135 Old Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS, 39503. All are invited to attend.

"I hope that people will walk away from this session with the feeling that they can immediately begin taking the small steps necessary to become a great author," states Marian.
Marian is the author of four dramatic and engaging books, with her fifth title, 'Blue Butterfly' releasing on April 4, 2014. Her books have been seen on national television stations such as: OWN, A&E Network, Ovation Network and featured in print magazines and newspapers. Her titles, 'My Father’s Colors' and 'Strings of Color' both received the USA Best Book Finalist Award. Her books are laced with thought-provoking themes of friendship, betrayal, family strife, and forgiveness.
