VANCOUVER, British Columbia - March 6, 2014 - PRLog -- As part of the sponsorship, COVERGIRL, Pantene and Olay products will be used backstage by the makeup and hair teams to develop all the Fall/Winter 2014 runway looks and present in the front of house providing a variety of consumer activations. “We are very excited about this new partnership,” stated Jamal Abdourahman, founder and producer of VFW. “Vancouver Fashion Week is growing rapidly year-over-year, and this speaks to the significance that the event is taking on the global stage. Guests of VFW will be treated to hair and makeup touch-ups at Beauty Bars throughout the event, with styling products from the Pantene Pro-V Stylers collection and makeup from some of the latest COVERGIRL collections including Bombshell and TruBlend. Visitors to the Beauty Bars can get their picture taken by professional photographers or do it themselves at convenient selfie mirrors after their runway-inspired touch-up to share on their social networks.

Vancouver Fashion Week’s Fall/Winter 2014 showcase is gearing up to be the best to date. With over 50 designers from 21 countries, Vancouver will once again play host to an abundance of established and emerging talent – and the list keeps on growing.

Kicking off on March 18, 2014 with the Opening Gala, and followed by six full days of shows, VFW provides a world-class platform for designers, from street-wear to haute couture, to send their collections down the runway for the whole world to see.
