Prudential Alliance is first area real estate company to sign with Berkshire Hathaway

ST. LOUIS - March 5, 2014 - PRLog -- Prudential Alliance, Realtors announces today that it is the first Metropolitan Area real estate company to join the powerhouse Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Real Estate Brokerage Network.  In further news, Prudential Alliance has added Bob Bax, industry standout and manager of its Ladue/Frontenac office, to its ownership group.  Prudential Alliance is the largest privately owned residential real estate company in our area and the second-largest overall.

         In making the announcements, Prudential Alliance Broker/Owners Andrea Lawrence and Kevin Goffstein noted that they have signed a long-term franchise agreement with Berkshire Hathaway.  The company will operate as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alliance, Realtors when the conversion takes place in the spring.

         The move is significant to area buyers and sellers, since agents now will have access to Berkshire Hathaway HomeService’s renowned real estate technology platform including mobile, social and media capabilities, as well as industry expertise and leadership, professional education, marketing support and more, giving them an edge in the competitive marketplace.

         Prudential Alliance, Realtors joins a growing roster of affiliates that have joined the network, which now includes more than 23,000 agents and 600 offices in 30 states.

         Locally, Prudential Alliance, Realtors had an exceptional 2013, with impressive figures of $743,500,000 in sales with 3,259 closed transactions.  Last year, the company grew to 365 real estate professionals, and since the start of 2014 more than 20 additional agents have joined the firm in their seven offices including its Chesterfield headquarters, Ladue/Frontenac, St. Peters, St. Charles West, Fenton, Festus and Washington.  The corporate/relocation, new homes and commercial divisions also are located at its Chesterfield office.

         Bax, a top area agent since 1988, joined Prudential Alliance, Realtors in January of 2009 as an officer and broker at the Ladue/Frontenac office, located in Schneithorst Village.  Since that time, the office has been the number-one achiever in the company every year, including 2013 when it closed over 900 units and $275 million.  Perhaps even more impressive, that office was number one in closed revenue in the Midwest for the entire Prudential network.

         Bax is well-known in the industry as an active member and board member of the St. Louis and Missouri Associations of Realtors.  A member of the SLAR Executive Committee and MLS Board of Directors, he also has been honored by the organization as both manager and realtor of the year.
