Fire Xcape Angel Joins Escape Mobility Team to Spread Health and Safety Message

LOUGHBOROUGH, U.K. - March 5, 2014 - PRLog -- To help spread the word about safe evacuation practices, Escape Mobility Company is pleased to welcome the Fire Xcape Angel to the team. Her debut will take place at the Health and Safety Event at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre from 11^th – 13^th March, where her team of evacuation experts will offer advice and information on safe evacuation procedures and evacuation equipment.

The Fire Xcape Angel’s role is to spread awareness of the importance of safe evacuation practices. All too often, building managers neglect to make evacuation plans, stating that it is unlikely that there will ever be a reason to vacate the property in an emergency. This outlook has dangerous potential, as failure to make an escape plan or fit out the building with the necessary evacuation equipment could prevent occupants from evacuating the building safely if an emergency does ever occur.

“I’m happy to be an associated member of the Escape Mobility Team, helping their evacuation experts to spread awareness about safe evacuation,” Fire Xcape Angel says. “We will work together to inform building managers and employers of the steps that they should take to ensure that the people on their property are safe in the event of an emergency”.

The Fire Xcape Angel presents evacuation safety measures in an interesting and engaging way. She provides expert advice about how to equip buildings with the correct type of evacuation equipment as well as how to formulate efficient evacuation plans. She will also host weekly Question and Answer sessions on Twitter under the #firexcapefridays tag, providing useful advice about occupational safety and evacuations.

As her first act of duty, she has created a game of Snakes and Ladders which is specially designed to inform players of the best practices that should be employed to ensure safe evacuations. Her team of evacuation experts from Escape Mobility Company will host the game at stand C20 at the Health and Safety Event, providing exhibition attendees with the opportunity to learn more about safe evacuation practices.
