Participant satisfaction & first-timer agent growth result in successful second ICEF Agent Roadshow

March 5, 2014 - PRLog -- The second ICEF Japan – Korea Agent Roadshow was held in Tokyo and Seoul, February 25 - 27. This event sold out again in 2014, bringing together 243 participants from 18 countries around the world. An impressive 50% of agents participating were attending their first ever ICEF event, meaning that educators and service providers who also attended in 2013 had ample opportunity to make new connections and expand their networks.

Differing from ICEF Workshops, Agent Roadshows provide institutions with the opportunity to take part in one day mini-events in each location. During the Japan – Korea event 1 029 pre-scheduled meetings took place.

The first stop on the roadshow was Tokyo, Japan, where educators and service providers met with representatives from 58 Japanese agencies. Chiho Iuchi, an agent from ISA Inc. said: “It is always good to have the chance to meet new people within the industry and to have the possibility to establish partnerships. It is also very interesting and useful to be able to exchange information with educators and other agents as well.”

After a successful day in Tokyo, educators and service providers travelled to Seoul for the second phase of the event. In total 83 agents, representing 76 agencies (12% more than in 2013) participated in the Korean part of the roadshow. “I had a great time! I was able to meet with educators from all over the world in one place!” Said Bo Hyun (Brandon) Seo, from UHAK ME, an agency based in Seoul.

Overall, participants were extremely satisfied with the event, 95% rating the roadshow as Good or Excellent (Excellent 52%, Good 43%, Average 5% and Poor 0%). Jane Winter of Lourdes Hill College in Australia commented: “The ICEF Japan – Korea Roadshow was a very productive way for me to market our college in a wonderful, convenient environment.”
