Peter J. Lucido to host Politics with Pete

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. - March 4, 2014 - PRLog -- SHELBY TWP, MI  -  Shelby Township resident, Peter J. Lucido, candidate for Michigan State Representative, District 36, representing the Townships of Shelby, Washington, Bruce and the Village of Romeo, will host Politics with Pete. Politics with Pete is a series of town hall meetings where district residents can talk and share with Pete their concerns about issues important to them.

The first of this series will be held at The Palazzo Grande in Shelby Township on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Doors open at 7:00p.m. with conversation from 7:30 pm until 9:00 p.m. Pete will provide the refreshments; residents will drive the conversation by providing the questions. As a State Representative candidate, Peter wants to know constituent concerns so he can best represent District 36 when he goes to Lansing. Politics with Pete will continue per the schedule listed below.

Politics with Pete arose when Peter met with voters for Coffee with Pete and Meet Pete events. During those meetings, Peter learned that the residents of District 36 have a lot on their minds and that there are many issues people want to discuss. To facilitate the conversation, Pete decided that what is needed is a series of community conversations to talk about important issues and work towards solutions.

During Politics with Pete, residents can share their concerns with Pete, ask him questions, listen to where he stands and consider solutions he has in mind that will work for them when he goes to Lansing. Pete encourages everyone to join him and take part in these conversations. The series of town hall events should bring family, friends, and neighbors together to discuss very important issues and move the district forward.
