March 4, 2014 - PRLog -- The Passport Program (, a summer-long program promoting bars and restaurants in Denver, today announced plans to launch in four new cities this summer including Boulder, Brooklyn, Fort Collins and Nashville. This year the program will be bigger, better and is the ultimate guide to summer drinking.

“Last year Denverities came out in droves and received more than 20,000 stamps,” said PJ Hoberman, co-founder of The Passport Program. “Our goal was to get people to explore Denver and check out bars outside of their everyday neighborhoods.”

In 2013, The Passport Program was introduced in Denver, Colo. The idea was simple: a pocket-sized black book full of two-for-one drink specials at more than 50 of the best bars in town. The Passport aims to help people find new, independent, local places to hang out and to provide participating venues with a new base of interested customers.

The program launches Memorial Day weekend and runs through Labor Day weekend. Each Passport is valid for one special at each establishment; upon redemption, bartenders will stamp the Passport to show where guests have enjoyed a beverage.

Restaurants and bars interested in participating are encouraged to contact Amy Osgood at The company is currently looking to hire sponsorship, venue and sales managers in each city. Details on joining the team can be found here (

“I’m very excited to help launch this program in Brooklyn,” said Jess Saba, director of The Brooklyn Passport. “This program will guide Brooklyn residents and visitors to some of the most surprising and delightful craft beverage bars in the borough.”

Passports will be available for $10 in Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins and Nashville and $25 in Brooklyn at Participating venues will be announced on Monday, April 29.
